Description: Atom Probe Tomography provides the location and identification of up to 80% of the atoms in a 3D volume with nanoscale spatial resolution. This presentation will discuss the practical and theoretical points from specimen preparation, the physics of operation, data reduction and analysis. A survey of what APT can do for nanoscale research will be included.
