APT&M Atom Probe Users Meeting 2023

Monday, July 31, 2023

You are invited to the 2023 Atom Probe Tomography & Microscopy 2023 conference, which will be held in Leuven, Belgium, September 17-21, 2023.

The User Meeting will be held at KU Leuven Sunday, September 17th, from 1 - 5pm.

2023 APT User's Meeting Topics will include:

  • What's your solution? Bring your challenges and solutions and share with the community. This will be an open format; use up to three slides to spur discussion on emerging applications, specimen preparation, hardware and software, or any APT-centric issue.
  • CAMECA's Accessories and Consumables. Storage, shipment, stages, specimens, tips and tricks.
  • Cryo Tips and Tricks. See the latest vacuum and cryo transfer solutions, and share your solutions.
  • Adaptive Reconstruction tools in AP SuiteTM. Discussion of the latest updates.
  • Wide Field of View DUV Atom Probe - what new applications are possible?
  • The imec and CAMECA Joint Development Project. Learn about our three-year mission to understand and solve challenges in the semiconductor industry using APT.
  • AP Suite Access Program - how to get no-cost software.

The User's Meeting will conclude with the CAMECA-sponsored Women in Atom Probe Happy Hour; snacks and beverages provided at a nearby location.  More information to come!

This 60th International Field Emission Symposium will bring together newcomers and experts from various scientific disciplines (physics, material science, geology, engineering, etc.) to discuss recent research results and future directions on aspects related to high field physics, nanoscience and atom probe microscopy.

This 5-day event will be the perfect platform to (re)connect with research fellows and to strengthen your scientific network during the workshop, informal gatherings, poster sessions and social events. The formal program will include a J. H. Block Lecture by an international renown expert in the field, invited talks, regular oral presentations, and the prestigious Erwin Müller Outstanding Emerging Scientist Award competition.

The APT&M conference series is a major international forum in the field of Atom Probe Tomography & Microscopy and its applications. Topics of interest include fundamental physics; laser-matter interactions; heat transfer and optical properties at the nanoscale; reconstruction methods; modelling and computational methods; nano-scale characterization of (functional) materials and nanostructures (metals, non-metals, semiconductors, ceramics, organics, biological, liquids); sample preparation, instrumentation and technique development; field ion microscopy (FIM); correlative and combined techniques (TEM, SIMS, etc.); and more.

This will be the first in-person APT&M conference after a five-year break. Let’s be #APTogether again.

Register for APT&M 2023.
